IT Professional Toolkit

What is an IT Professional and why would one need a toolkit?

To answer the first part of the question, Webster defines a professional as “(1) characterized by or conforming to the technical or ethical standards of a profession, (2) exhibiting a courteous, conscientious, and generally businesslike manner in the workplace” (Merriam-Webster, 1). This would hold true as a professional working within the Information Technology sector.

To answer the second part of the question, every IT Professional should have a toolkit. That toolkit should contain information or tools they will need to be successful in thier career. This toolkit contians information regarding Information Technology Governance, Policy and Strategy.
